After five years with Rainbow Cozy Powell had decided to leave, his last gig being the first Monsters Of Rock Festival at Donington. His replacement, Bobby Rondinelli was in attendance at the gig, and shortly after it the band set about recording what would become the 'Difficult To Cure' album.

Bonnet was disillusioned with some of the songs, particularly 'I Surrender' and decided to pursue a solo career. Once again this short-lived line-up never performed live.
